CIFIS is committed to making the Capital Access Intelligence Platform usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.
Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We design and build with semantic HTML, accessible color tokens, keyboard navigation, focus management, and screen reader compatibility.
What we do
- Use semantic HTML and ARIA only where needed.
- Maintain color contrast that meets WCAG AA.
- Provide visible focus styles on interactive elements.
- Ensure all interactive controls are reachable by keyboard.
- Label icon-only buttons with accessible names.
- Test against axe-core and modern screen readers during development.
Known limitations
CIFIS is an evolving platform. Some advanced data visualizations and third-party components may have partial accessibility support. We track and prioritize these as accessibility defects.
